Catching Up (Barely)..

I am so glad I have a few days of holiday. I spent some time at the computer catching up on LOs, and had some crafting time, too!
I'm still behind with my P365 pages, but I'm catching up. Here's Week 47, using some gorgeous products I was RAKed with. ;)

Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas! As usual Christmas got here way too fast, but I'm really glad this year to have a few days off to relax and be with my husband.

I wanted to share our photocards for this year (as usual, after I designed the first, I wanted to try something else, and ended up with 3 designs! :) ):

Hybrid Nativity Set

My crazy schedule hasn't relented much, but this weekend I worked on a very quick and pretty hybrid project, so that my mom could bring it back home with her.
I used Chelle's gorgeous kit, O Come Let Us Adore Him:

and I made a hybrid Nativity Set:

It is really super cute, and very easy and quick to make. I need to make another one for us, hopefully tonight! :)
Today is my last work day before Christmas break. I have SO many things I need to catch up on!

Snow Much Fun

Yes, I am done with classes for the semester. No, I'm not any less busy, unfortunately!! :-/ I'm working a lot, trying to make a good impression on my new adviser, and on top of that, my mom is visiting. ;) But, life is good, and I'll be on holiday a week from today! Christmas is approaching way too fast..
Anyway, of course all of this has left me with no time to scrap. I only worked on a little crafty project for my Secret Santa (well, actually, I am the Secret Santa of this person, but you got the idea!) and I thought that would be it for the week. But then, I saw Mari's new, fabulous, huge, amazing collection and I had to play with it right away! Here's Snow Much Fun:

It's the most fabulous winter kit you could wish for! The snowmen are just adorable, and the kit is jam packed with goodies. You also get 3 (THREE!) darling alphas and some fantastic brushes!
As I said, I didn't have time to scrap with it, but I needed some cards so here's what I made:

Friday!

Gosh, I can't believe one whole week has gone by since my last post.. This shows how busy I've been! :-/ And it's not over yet!
But today is Friday, which means new releases at ScrapMatters. This week I had NO time to scrap, but in the weekend I did cut out a short time from my busy schedule to use this gorgeous new kit by Anna BV:

I simply couldn't resist that adorable reindeer... Can you?!? ;) Here's the page I did with it:

I can't wait to have some time to scrap, and work on some hybrid goodies. But unfortunately, it won't be in the near future! I'm crazy busy with school, and (WOOOOT!) my mom is coming to visit tonight!!! I cannot wait! Unfortunately, the snow has arrived this week, and it looks like it's here to stay. And it's 16 F now, too! I love snow, but with my mom still not walking too well after taking her cast off 3 weeks ago, it would have been best not to have snow around for a week still.. Oh, well, it's here now, and we can manage it, I hope! :)

I'm glad this week is almost over (and we're at -1 week from my mom's visit!! so exciting!!) but I'm not looking forward to the weekend, because I have lots of work to do.. :-/

December BYOC

Amy Sumrall has 2 new products for the December BYOC in store today!

I used them both to make a tree tag:

and let me say, it's just adorable! ;)

Gift Tags

There's a great hybrid challenge going on at ScrapMatters, for the Perfectly Packaged series! We have to create gift tags, so I did 3 tags to accompany the calendars we're giving to our families for Christmas. Such a nice idea to make the package more personal!

Lots of Goodies!

Mari has a new paper pack in her store, and it's 20% from now until Friday. It's just delicious!

I love it and made 2 pages with it:

Mari also unpacked her grab bag so if you haven't bought the grab bag, you can still get these great products separately (and they're 20% too!):

or you can still purchase the grab bag for $8 (it's still a HUGE deal!):

Sorry for the long post, but these gorgeous products deserved to be showed off properly! ;)

Christmas Ornaments

I haven't had time to show these last week, but since December has begun and I'm slowly decorating the house for the season, it's time to post my Christmas ornaments here. These were featured on the ScrapMatters blog last week: check it out for more great inspiration.

I used two template sets by Geeky Diva Designs:

and this gorgeous kit by Britt:

and voila', my ornaments:

They really turned out pretty! I have one more ornament to show, watch for it in the next days! :)

It's Here!

This is what we woke up to yesterday morning:

It's long gone now, but it'll be back soon. I love the white stuff! It took a longer than usual this year for it to make its appearance!

$2 Tuesday

It's $2 Tuesday, and Mari has a great calendar template set for sale today!

Calendars make such a great gift! That's what I'm giving to our parents for Christmas, and I also am making a smaller desktop calendar for myself. Grab these gorgeous templates and make yourself a pretty calendar!
